PECOS I & A Process

CMS does not permit the sharing of logins to their PECOS portal to submit or update profile information on the providers or practices behalf. Health Prime Credentialing Account Managers are REQUIRED to activate the staff connection in PECOS I & A (if not already done) to access the PECOS portal for any provider or group. 

Please send Medicare Account info to your manager to have a surrogate connection created. Once the practice has approved the connection to PMB/ HPI credentialing team. With your staff member connection to PMB/HPI, you would then have direct access to a profile. Account info needed for request is

  • Group:

    • Organization Name

    • Do they Use Kareo? (PMB or HPI customer)

    • NPI

    • Any additional email to send request to (can only be added upon initial request)

  • Providers:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Do they Use Kareo? (PMB or HPI customer)

    • NPI

    • Any additional email to send request to (can only be added upon initial request)
